Top Dressing and Overseeding
A cost effective and non-disruptive way to enhance underlying sports field condition and avoid full and expensive restoration which may become necessary.
Top dressing is carried out to restore surface levels, after a full season’s wear and tear on your pitch or field. It protects newly seeded areas and encourages germination, improves grass health and drainage.
Overseeding improves grass coverage, disease resistance and introduces desired grass species to your pitch. Overseeding is carried out with a disc seeder, to ensure maximum seed to soil contact which increases germination. It can also be carried out, post scarifying by using the scarify lines to hold the seed in the ground.”
